Quran Class Philosophy and Goals
  • Instill love of the Quran in the student’s hearts.
  • Help establish in students the firm commitment and dedication to Islam as the eternal source of guidance.
  • Make students aware of their responsibilities to Allah, themselves, and humanity as Muslims.
  • Increase the student's self-confidence.
  • Encourage students to acquire positive attitudes, develop balanced personalities and appreciate knowledge.
  • Enhance the students motivation to learn and memorize the Quran.
  • Develop students’ respect and appreciation for the Qur’an as the final source of guidance and final criterion in Islam.
  • Enable the students to read, recite and memorize two parts of the Quran with fluency and Tajweed.
  • Enable the students to understand the basic meaning and explanation of those two parts.
  • Develop the students’ thinking skills (how to think, analyze, and solve problems based on Islamic rules).

 

Each grade will be completing the following surahs insha'Allah

  • Preschool - 
  • PreK - Al Fatihah + 9 surahs until Al Feel
  • Kindergarten - Al Asr, Quraish, Al Nasr
  • 1st - At-Teen, Al Qadr, Al Zalzalah
  • 2nd - Al Fajr, Al Balad, Al Layl
