Technology with Ms. Najla

The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.

As any educator, the top priority is to prepare students for the future. In this case, it’s all about educating students on the impacts and involvement of technology in their daily lives. New advances constantly change the way we work, play, interact, teach, and learn. My challenge will be to instill knowledge, interest, and ability in students to function in this technologically dominated society. While technological advances have introduced ease in many everyday processes, it also requires students to be creative problem solvers, innovative thinkers, and be able to quickly adapt to change. We are living in a generation where, without this knowledge, students may not be prepared to compete in future jobs.

Insha’Allah with the support of our Pillars Preparatory Academy family and active support from parents, we will be able to lay the foundation for a very strong and successful Technology program at Pillars Prep!
