Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood program is state licensed and accredited.  We offer a full day, daily structured program for students age birth through 5 that supports them to transition into our Kindergarten program.  All classrooms are equipped with age appropriate activities and toys.  There is a low teacher to student ratio of 1:4 in nursery and 1:10 in Preschool and PreK.

All children, even infants, are introduced to Arabic and English language skills and basic Duas and Quran.  Beginning at age 2, children are introduced to English Language Arts and Math Concepts through the Tools of the Mind Curriculum.  Beginning at age 3, children are also encouraged to memorize dua and Quran.

By the end of PreK 4, most of our students can.:

  • Recite about 11 surahs and 10 duas.
  • Recognize and name letter sounds in Arabic and English.
  • Write their own name.
  • Count to 100 by 1s and 10s.
  • Add up to 10.

We also support students to develop social and emotional skills and fine and gross motor movements through our play-based programs.

Nursery

The nursery program at Pillars is far beyond what a regular daycare has to offer. This class offers the same care and love as other daycare programs, and also goes beyond to offer a structured learning-through-play program.  Our nurturing teachers  focus on creating strong, secure bonds with infants so that they can develop trust of others and self-confidence (an β€œI’m okay, you’re okay ideal” of early development).

Preschool

Independent exploration, structured activities and hands on learning are all major components in our Preschool Program. Your children are gaining communicative and social skills. They are becoming more aware of themselves and their peers. Our Preschool program provides the children with a strong and dynamic foundation that allows them to grow academically and socially.
